Canyon de Chelly

Posting a few pictures of this beautiful canyon. Not many words needed.

The south side

The north side

There were several old cliff dwellings of the Anasazi on both the south and north sides, but my little camera was insufficient in capturing them. This one was close enough and big enough to get.

This is it zoomed in. Of course, you can click on the pictures for a bigger view.

And there were wild horses along the roads.

  1. Great pictures - I love that place. Still haven't done the jeep tour. Maybe next time. We did walk down to that White House. I understand the free campground is no longer free. I guess all good things do come to an end.

  2. This is definitely on my bucket list--your photos are gorgeous! Everything is so green...probably atypical for that area at this time of the year! Thank you.
