It's been a few years since I've been to Disneyland, so this week Brion and I picked up a couple parkhopper tickets and off we went. This is one of the best times of year to go since it's the least crowded. It was overcast and a little chilly, so it wasn't an absolutely perfect day, but there were no crowds and the lines were short so we got to see all the things we wanted to see. Like Mickey.
I thought that seeing the Matterhorn through palm trees was kind of funny. I'd never noticed that before.
I'm not a fan of California Adventure and apparently, it's not been a big hit with the public in general, but we walked around and checked it out just the same.
There's been a lot of rebuilding going on and the new Cars Land will open on June 15th. It looks like it might be interesting and we plan to check it out.
By the end of the day, I was happy to sit down on the curb while the parade marched by.
We got a 3-day park hopper ticket, so we have 2 more days to use between now and the end of September. I think we'll look for a sunny day next week to go again while it's still not crowded.
